Child Welfare Training Toolkit

Overview

Child Welfare Training Toolkit is a comprehensive training resource designed to enhance child welfare workers' knowledge and understanding of substance use and co-occurring disorders among families involved in the child welfare system. The curriculum provides foundational knowledge and skill-building activities to help advance child welfare casework practice. It can be used by state and local jurisdictions to supplement pre-service or in-service workforce learning opportunities. Use of the training toolkit is also highly encouraged for all cross-training needs to promote collaboration and system-level change.
